Hello everyone! Today we have some really exciting news for you! We are very proud to present the announcement trailer for our current project, Qasir Al-Wasat!
The game evolved a great deal during the past few weeks, and it is possible to say it is, for the most part, complete. We now begin one of the most enjoyable parts of the development: polishing the game until it shines. =)
So what where the latest features added to the project?
We have many new levels, including some secret areas we are very excited about.
We also worked on an improvement over our text/dialog system, to make it more active for the player. We are still testing it, but it seems to be a promising feature.
The rest was hard work with heavy bugfixing, tests and asset building.

I LOVED the trailer and the whole scenario of the game. But I felt disturbed by one thing: I feel that is dificult to make a connection with a charachter that I don’t see.
I mean, 2D games is all about caring with the characters and gameplay. Classic games like Zelda, Mario, Chrono Trigger… They all have easily distinguishable characters that the players care.
I know that the whole idea of the game is be invisible, but I’d rather have some other indications than the real invisible character.
Sorry for the bad english (sou brasileiro, como vocês) and I’m anxious to buy your game ASAP.

Gostei da ideia central de um personagem invisivel. Mas ainda queria saber quantas horas de jogo e esperado. Outra coisa, o que significa o titulo do jogo?

O jogo é curto, algo como 3-4 horas de duração, mas há valor de replay nele. O título significa, em inglês, Palace in-between.
